Forget being better than. Forget being the best.
PATRIOTISM,
to me,
is THE LOVE OF THE BEST of what you see in your country and in what it can become, with the blessing of God Almighty.
Yes, that is a big tent.
That’s because it IS a big tent.
But beware of confusing loving your best for thinking you are the best.
May we all merit to be true patriots.
